Over recent years, funds raised by the Malkara P&C Association have gone towards the purchase of a new, modified bus, an upgrade of the school's library and a complete makeover of the Early Education playground.

From time to time, on specific request from the principal, the P&C Association approves funding for specific pieces of equipment for use in the school. Since 2008 the P&C has funded many classroom items such as: a modified bicycle for students with a physical disability; a large bubble tube; sensory panel for the multisensory room; five quality beanbags; two Ikea egg chairs; sensory resources; specialist classroom furniture; shade cloth in the sensory garden; Lilac courtyard; iPads and customised chairs.

Attendance at the P&C meetings, held regularly in the evening, is open to every family with a child enrolled at Malkara. Dates are published in the school newsletter Malkara Matters and new members are always warmly welcomed.
